I am excited to be the assistant principal at Velma Penny Elementary. I am entering my 15th year in education. I spent 13 of those years in Lindale ISD and 1 year in Tyler ISD as an assistant principal. I was previously a second grade teacher for 10 years, third grade teacher for 2 years, and math intervention teacher for 1 year. I received my Bachelor’s  in Interdisciplinary Studies and Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Tyler. I’m passionate about helping children grow to their fullest potential and building relationships with our students and parents. I am honored to be on the administrative team in the best district! Go Eagles!
