• Conferences 1A-4A to begin UIL activities on time as originally scheduled.

• 2020-2021 school year scheduled to begin August 19, 2020.

• July 2 - Governor issues state-wide mask mandate for all Texans. 

• Governor Abbott closes all schools through May 31.

• Governor Abbott closes all schools through May 4.

• March 30 - LISD extends school closure through April 10 to comply with Smith County “Stay at Home” order.

• March 19 - The governor has closed schools through April 3.

• The UIL has also extended the length of the suspension of all UIL-sanctioned activities. All contests, practices, rehearsals and workouts will remain suspended until at least May 4.

• Lindale ISD events originally scheduled through March 22 are postponed until further notice. An update regarding event cancellation or event rescheduling will be provided prior to the district reopening.  

• The school board meeting scheduled for March 16 has been cancelled.
